Logic in action

So I'm sitting on my front step and a couple of kids go by on a bike - one is doing the biking, the other is riding on the back.

Driver: Would you rather be Canadian or American?
Rider: American!
Driver: Why?
Rider: Because if Hitler ruled, they never would have invented bikes and
we'd have to walk everywhere.
